PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CT scanner which can update a cross-sectional image quickly and can obtain interpolating images efficiently by alternately performing scanning operations containing (n) times of traversing operations and rotating operations against a traverse rotating mechanism. SOLUTION: An imperfect partial cross-sectional image is produced whenever scanning operations are made one time by performing traverses (n) times (n is, for example, 6) and, at the same time, traverses are made (k) times (k is an arbitrary value, such as 2, etc., at which n/k becomes a natural number). Then a cross-sectional image is obtained by collecting data by repeatedly rotating a turntable in steps at an angle and traverses. Firstly, a partial cross-sectional image 1 is obtained by adding the data of the traverse 1 to one picture after filtrating and reversely projecting the data. When the partial cross-sectional image 6 of the traverse 6 is obtained by repeating the above-mentioned operations, the cross-sectional image is obtained and displayed by adding partial cross-sectional images 1-6 to each other. Then a partial cross-sectional image 7 is obtained and added to the cross-sectional image and, at the same time, the latest cross-sectional image is obtained by subtracting the cross-sectional image 1 from the cross-sectional image and displayed. |
