PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the connection loss of a load by matching the current of each converter to that of a converter for outputting the maximum current, connecting the output of each converter to the load via a MOSFET, and obtaining the gate drive power supply of the MOSFET from the secondary coil winding of the transformer of the converter. SOLUTION: While a DC-DC converter Con1-1 is operating, the secondary side voltage of a transformer Ts is rectified by a diode D5 and a positive- electrode voltage is obtained at the source side of a MOSFET (Q3) for a capacitor C2. Since the voltage is biased to turn on the MOSFET (Q3), a current flows from the source of the MOSFET (Q3) to the drain. That in, the current of the converter Con1-1 flows to a load LD. Also, since no secondary side voltage of the transformer Ts can be obtained when the converter Con1-1 fails, the voltage of the capacitor C2 reaches zero and the MOSFET (Q3) is turned off, thus preventing current from flowing from another converter Con2 in parallel redundant operation and hence preventing influence to other converters. |
