PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burdens on the heart and to adjust a bathing posture by providing a bathing device with a water stop material deformable in the direction of allowing the angle adjustment of a backrest part and a foot placing part divided from a waist mounting part. SOLUTION: The backrest part 1a is connected by hinge to one end of the waist mounting part 1b and also the foot placing part 1c is connected by hinge to the other end of the waist mounting part 1b through shaft members 12. At respective parts between the backrest part 1a and the waist mounting part 1b and between the waist mounting part 1b and the foot placing part 1c, an accordion-like water stop material 14 deformable in the direction of allowing the angle adjustment of the backrest part 1a and the foot placing part 1c is arranged. The water stop material 14 is formed over the entire length on the bottom wall cross-sectional part of a bathtub 1 and on sidewall cross-sectional parts on both sides, watertightness between the backrest part 1a and the waist mounting part 1b and between the waist mounting part 1b and the foot placing part 1c is completely secured and the posture at the time of bathing is freely selected. |
