PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fusion of toner on a developing blade, by constituting a developer carrier of a cylindrical metallic base body, and a covering layer mainly composed of resin in which materials having abrasive property are dispersed. SOLUTION: A photoreceptor drum 1 is, in the rotary process in the direction of arrow R1, processed to be electrified while being provided with a specific polarity and a surface potential by an electrifying device 2, then exposed with an image exposing light L by an exposing device 3, and the electrostatic latent image corresponding to this image is formed on the photoreceptor drum 1. In the covering layer disposed on the surface of a developing sleeve 41 on this device, the materials having the abrasive property such as ceramic particles, metallic oxide or the like are dispersedly incorporated besides the conductive materials or the releasing property materials such as carbon black, copper or the like. The ceramic particle of about 30μgrain size is most preferable as the abrasive material to be adopted. Therefore, even if the toner of substantially spherical shape is adopted, the fusion of the toner on the developing blade can be prevented. |
