PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an image part by a simple operation by fetching an area processed as the image data in an image by an image data form which cant be treated by a document information processor and fetching the other parts as the character data which can be obtained by a character recognition. SOLUTION: An image is read by a scanner 42 and the image is stored in a work memory. A part to be fetched into a document information processor as the image data of displayed images is designated and a range information showing the part to be fetched is stored in the work memory. The image in the range extracted by the range information is converted into image data which can be treated as document data, the image data is stored in document data and arrangement information is stored in the arrangement information on the document of image data. Next, the part fetched as image data of the image data in the work memory is cleared. The data is made into a character code, the part made into image data by a character recognition is cleared and the part is converted into a space code. |
