PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control stability and to improve reliability even when a position detection signal change time interval changes by reflecting a conduction overlapping angle and a conduction overlapping starting time which are calculated from the measured position detection signal change time interval on an actual conduction overlapping. SOLUTION: An overlapping starting time interval calculation means 4 calculates a conduction overlapping start time 13 from a conduction overlapping time 12 and a position detection signal change time interval 11. A comparator 6 outputs a conduction overlapping start signal 15 when the count value of a timer 5 matches the conduction overlapping start time 13. A commutation signal synthesis means 7 receiving the conduction overlapping start signal 15 outputs a commutation command signal 16 and a commutation mode signal 17 as an overlapping conduction mode. A microcomputer 8 receiving the commutation command signal 16 in an overlapping conduction mode outputs a drive signal 18 for setting the drive output of a drive circuit 9 to a specific state for the output state of position detection elements Hu, Hv, and Hw. |
