PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of specific surface area of a carrier at the time of high temperature and keep high the NOx occlusion power of an NOx occlusion material. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas purifying catalyst is constituted of an amorphous multiple oxide composed of an NOx occlusion material and aluminum, micropore crystals having solid acid and a catalyst noble metal. The lowering of specific surface area at the time of high temperature is prevented by using the amorphous multiple oxide as a carrier, and sulfur toxication is prevented by the oxidization in the presence of micropore crystals. |
