<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to monitor at all times the decrease in insulating performance of an insulating spacer. SOLUTION: An insulating spacer is made of mold resin which insulates and supports a high-tension conductor 3 located in a cylinder-shaped metallic container 1 and seals both ends of the insulating gas enclosed metallic container 1. In such an insulating spacer, a plurality of conductive shields 14b, 14c which are located at specified intervals concentrically with the conductor 3, a sensor for detecting a very small quantity of magnetism, a first optical fiber 30a which transmits light entering the sensor and which is connected to the outside, and a second optical fiber 30b which transmits light emitted from the sensor and which is connected to the outside are buried in the mold resin.</p> |
