PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a crosslinked polyethylene foam to be used as a article and thereby, save the natural resources and achieve the effect to protect an environment by fusing the skin of the crosslinked polyethylene foam through flaming and sticking a jersey to the fused face under pressure. SOLUTION: The surface of the skin of a crosslinked polyethylene foam is fused by applying the flame of a burner using a city gas directly to the skin. Next, a jersey is laminated on the fused surface and this laminate is pressed by making it pass through a clearance between two rolls being rotated at an equal speed. Consequently, the skin and the jersey are completely fused together. The quality of the jersey is not necessarily specified, if it is a light, stretchable and thick knitted material. Further, the crosslinked polyethylene foam to be used is, for example, a thick foam manufactured by a pressure single stage foaming or a pressure two-stage foaming method. A non-foamed skin is formed on the face which comes into contact with a molding die.
|
