POLYURETHANE FIBER-CONTAINING TEXTILE PRODUCT WITH MODIFIED ABSORBED SWEAT RELEASABILITY AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject textile product having absorbed sweat releasability close to that for the skin and comfortable wear feeling. SOLUTION: This textile or textile product containing polyurethane fibers is immersed in a solution of water-soluble wool protein which is obtained by oxidative cleavage of wool by a relatively high concentration of an oxidizing agent in a weakly alkaline liquid medium, thus making the wool protein selectively adsorbed to the polyurethane fibers. It is especially preferable that, prior to the immersion, the textile (product) be pretreated with chitosan or chitosan be made to coexist with the aqueous solution of the wool protein.
