PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a<18> F marker of a new fluorine containing choline compound having quality for use in high quality PET diagnosis for cerebral tumor. SOLUTION: This<18> F marker is a compound expressed by formula (Rf is a fluoroalkyl, a fluoroalkenyl and a fluoroalkynyl where each group contains<18> F; X is a conjugated base of an acid), for example, p-toluenesulfonyloxy<18> F-2- fluoroethyl-dimethyl-2-oxyethylammonium. The compound of formula is produced by the reaction of the fluorine containing compound of formula, RfX with dimethylethanolamine.<18> F has a long half period such as 110min, the fluorine containing choline compound marked with<18> F is available for diagnosis of many people in one stroke of synthesis and capable of enough quality check before dose. Positive electrons of<18> F have a short range, the PET image of<18> F is high in quality compared with that of<11> C and is capable for long distance transportation from the production site to the PET installed medical facility. |
