PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain pearly coated paper having high pearly touch and glossy touch, excellent feeling, texture and printability. SOLUTION: A coated layer is formed by applying a coating solution containing hollow organic fillers on at least one face of a base material and laminating a printing layer composed of a pearl pigment on the hollow organic filler layer in turn. Density of areal weight of the pearly coated paper divided by thickness is 0.60-0.80g/cm2 . The resultant coated paper satisfies all of following terms: 15-30% white paper gloss, 10-30 sec Bekk smoothness, 6.0-8.0μm Parker print surface roughness at 5kg/cm<2> pressure, 2.0-4.5μm Parker print surface roughness at 20kg/cm<2> pressure, 30-1,000 sec oil absorbency and 0.60-0.80g/cm<3> density.
