PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately output prediction information that paper jamming may frequently occur in the near future at every occurrence position in an image forming device with reducing a required memory capacity, but without lowering the speed of a copying operation with an easy calculation processing. SOLUTION: Paper detecting sensors A, etc., are arranged at plural positions on a paper feeding path, the occurrence of paper jamming is detected by a jam occurrence detecting part 28 at every occurrence position based on the paper state detected by each sensor, the jam occurrence information is counted by a jam alarm counting part 27 arranged at that position, and when the count value reaches a reference value, the jam alarm information is generated and transmitted to a controller 4 by a transmitting part 29. But, the count value of a part for counting the number of copied sheets 24 comes to a paper jamming standard value stored by an alarm level storing part 25 before detecting the occurrence of jamming, the count value of the jam occurrence information is reset. |
