PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control a large volume of image information recorded in a plurality of recording devices and recording media. SOLUTION: This endoscope image filing device is equipped with an image recording and reproducing device 1 to control the recording and reproducing of information regarding an endoscope image obtainable via an endoscope system 6, a magneto-optical disc drive(MO drive) 3 to record image information regarding the endoscope image on magneto-optical discs(MO) 2a and 2b, and a hard disc 4 to record control information regarding the endoscope image. For retrieving the endoscope image, the control information is read out from the hard disc 4 and then displayed on a monitor 7. Subsequently, an operator specifies a retrieval object from a keyboard 8, thereby identifying the MO 2a or 2b containing target image information regarding the endoscope image. Then, the image information is read out from the MO drive 3 and displayed on the monitor 7. |
