PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject resin composition good in adhesion of films without requiring the surface treatment such as degreasing and washing with a halogen-based organic solvent, primer coating or plasma irradiation. SOLUTION: This resin composition excellent in coating properties comprises (a) 35-80wt.% propylene homopolymer or propylene-ethylene copolymer, (b) 10-45wt.% ethylene-α-olefin copolymer rubber (with the proviso that ethylene is not included), (c) 0-20wt.% inorganic filler and (d) 5-20wt.% polypropylene, modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride and having hydroxyl groups introduced thereinto.
