PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plotting device which can improve the plotting processing efficiency without using a working memory of a large capacity. SOLUTION: The plotting device consists of a command store part 2c of a FIFO system which stores the plotting commands given from a host processor 1, and a geometry arithmetic part 21 which fetches the stored plotting commands into a working memory area and carries out a necessary plotting operation. In such constitution, the plotting command consists of the packet type data which connect plural basic graphic element data to the header information that identifies the command types. At the same time, the part 21 has such a constitution that fetches the commands stored in the part 2c into the same address area of the working memory area for each of basic graphic element data and then sequentially carries out the plotting operations. |
