The humidifier is regulated and the air is humidified by measurement of the relative humidity of the air entering the humidifier. The relative humidity is measured with two temperature indicators, of which one measures the ingoing air dry temperature and the other measures the temperature of the water fed to the air. The two temperature indicators are mutually calibrated. The temperature of the water fed to the air is measured in the water reservoir. - A humidifier cushion (2) is used, through which air passes which is to be humidified. The device employed consists of a stainless steel casing (1). The humidifier cushion is fitted in its inlet. Air for humidification is sucked through the cushion by an axial fan. The bottom of the casing consists of a water trough in PVC plastic (4). A constant flow valve and a magnet valve (7) open and close on impulses from a level indicator (8). |
