Solid preparation for paddy field and method for the application thereof

A solid pesticide preparation for paddy fields which is to be applied to watered paddy fields in a dose of 10 to 500 g per 10 a, contains 1 to 80 % of at least one pesticidally active ingredient and has a disintegration ratio in water at 25 DEG C of less than 20; and a method for the application of the solid pesticide preparation which comprises applying the preparation to watered paddy fields in a dose of 10 to 500 g per 10 a. The solid pesticide composition having a disintegration ratio in water at 25 DEG C of less than 20 is produced from a specific composition. It exhibits excellent pesticidal effects, in particular, herbicidal effect, in spite of being very conveniently applicable compared with the conventional granules.
