PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a sound quality desired by a listener accurately in a short time by conducting sound quality adjustment based on a quantitative model in cross reference between a physical quantity and a psychological quantity of an acoustic reproduction device. SOLUTION: The sound quality desired by a listener is a scale of a linear psychological category axis in sound quality expression word pairs, and a sound quality display means 16 displays simultaneously in real time a 2-dimensional plane consisting of two kinds of psychological category axes and the sound quality entered by a sound quality input means 15. When the sound quality input means 15 inputs the desired sound quality while referring to the indication of the sound quality display means 16, a correction characteristic corresponding to the inputted sound quality is extracted by a correction characteristic extract means 17 and a control section 18 sets the correction characteristic to a sound quality adjustment device 12. On the other hand, a signal received by an audio signal input means 11 is subjected to sound quality adjustment by the sound quality adjustment device and the resulting signal is reproduced from a speaker 14. |
