PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive carbonaceous formed product without having variations in its dimensions and capable of eliminating a mechanical processing. SOLUTION: This method for producing a cylindrical or crucible-shaped carbonaceous formed product comprises inserting a cylindrical mandrel having the same or larger thermal expansion coefficient than that of the carbonaceous formed material after its burning or graphitization, into the inside of the formed material before the burning or the graphitization and burning or graphitizing. |
