摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a solar battery cell by connecting the heat absorption part of a thermo module to the reverse side of a solar battery cell via an insulation layer and connecting a power supply to the thermo module. SOLUTION: A plus electrode 4 is provided on a P layer 2, a minus electrode 5 is provided on an N layer 3, and an insulation layer 6 is fixed to the reverse side of a solar battery cell 1. A thermoelectric semiconductor 8 consisting of a P-type element and a thermoelectric semiconductor 9 consisting of a N-type element are joined at a metal electrode 10 and metal electrodes 11 and 12 are provided at the semiconductors 8 and 9. An insulation layer 6 is sealed to the upper metal electrode 10 in π shape for a thermo module 7. When light is applied to the pn junction of the solar battery cell 1, an electromotive force is generated at the cell 1 and power is supplied to a load. On the other hand, when a current is supplied from a power supply 13 from N to P of a pair of π-type series circuits P and N of the thermo module 7, heat is absorbed at an upper part and heat is generated at a lower part due to the Peltier effect and heat goes from the upper to lower parts for pumping, thus suppressing the heat generation of the solar battery cell and enhancing a generation effect.
