PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet having excellent transparency and strength of an ink receiving layer, excellent ink acceptance, drying characteristics, fixing properties, dot reproducibility and water resistance, and no ink oozing or no aging change after printing. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet comprises an ink receiving layer containing aluminum oxide fine particles of γ-type crystal shape having mean particle size of 200nm or less bonded by binder made of water soluble cellulose ether etherified by methoxyl group and hydroxylpropoxyl group at least at one side surface of a base material sheet. |
