PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily make a recording time long, to improve retrieval performance and filing performance, and to prevent data from deteriorating by putting moving picture encoded data, sound encoded data, etc., together in one composite digital data. SOLUTION: An analog signal of a moving picture is converted by a moving picture processing part 11 into a digital signal, which is compressed into moving picture encoded data. An analog signal of a sound, on the other hand, is converted by a sound processing part 12 into a digital signal, which is further compressed into sound encoded data. Further, a digital signal from facsimile equipment 5 is compressed by a facsimile processing part 14 into facsimile encoded data when necessary. Then the encoded data of the moving picture and sound, various data, etc., are put together into one composite digital data by an encoding part 16 and sent to a data recording part 200. The data recording part 200 records the composite digital data by a recording device 24. |
