PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce switching time and to decrease the control power (switch current) by detecting an operating state of the power bipolar transistor(TR) so as to adjust a current flowing to its base terminal. SOLUTION: The power bipolar TR Q1 is an npn bipolar TR to be controlled. An emitter terminal E of the TRQ1 is set to a ground level (=0V). Then a collector terminal C is connected to a positive voltage source Vcc via a load X. A caption B denotes a base terminal. Furthermore, the controller consists of a 1st controller, a 2nd controller and a power supply 3 supplying a base current to the TR. A line connecting them indicates a flowing state of a base current. Then the base current from the power supply 3 is fed to the TRQ1 via the 1st controller 1 and the 2nd controller 2. Through the constitution above, a switching time is reduced and the control power (switch current) is reduced. |
