PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a package in the state that the package is closely contacted with articles to be packaged, by using a simply constructed apparatus even in the case of a packaging bag having no airtightness. SOLUTION: This apparatus for tightening an upper opening of a packaging bag comprises a suction nozzle 11 for sucking an upper opening Ba of a packaging bag B under a negative pressure, holding means 38a, 38b for holding the vicinity of the upper opening Ba of the packaging bag, whose opening is sucked by the suction nozzle 11, drawing means 32a, 32b which operate so as to draw a cross-sectional area of the packaging bag B at a position lower than the portion where the upper opening of the packaging bag is held between the holding means 38a, 38b, and tightening means 34a, 34b, each being positioned between each of the holding means 38a, 38b and each of the drawing means 32a, 32b. |
