PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vivid display without hindering the facilitation of manufacturing and driving. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel has electrodes X, Y, which are arranged in the sequence direction of a matrix formed of unit display elements, and plural partitioning walls 29 separately positioned and for partitioning a discharge space 30 per each line of the matrix. Phosphor 28R, 28G, 28B are arranged between the partitioning walls so as to obtain the same light emission color of the unit display element in each sequence, and each partitioning wall 29 is formed into a band shape, of which shape with a plan view is snaked with a certain regulation. The partitioning walls 29 are arranged along the sequence direction so that a distance between the adjacent walls periodically becomes smaller than the constant value. Each display electrode X, Y is arranged so that a discharge is generated at a position in the sequence direction in a range of a distance between the partitioning walls larger than the constant value. |
