PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a connection switch to a modulator or a demodulator by using a 45 deg. phase difference distributor at a local oscillation signal frequency band so as to enhance the image suppression characteristics. SOLUTION: In the case of up-conversion, a local oscillation signal with a frequency f1 is inputted to a terminal 3 and inputted to unit frequency converters 1, 2 as outputs with a phase differenceπ/4 via a 45 deg. phase difference distributor 9. An IF signal with the frequency f1 is inputted to a terminal 7 and outputted to terminals 5, 6 with a phase difference ofπ/2 by 90 deg. hybrids 1, 2. An RF signal converted with a converter 1 and 2 is outputted. In the case of down-conversion, the local oscillation signal with the frequency f1 is inputted to the terminal 3 and outputted to the unit frequency converters 1, 2 with a phase differenceπ/4 via the 45 deg. phase difference distributer 9. The RF signal is inputted to a terminal 4 and outputted to the converters 1, 2 with the phase differenceπ/4 and the same signal intensity via a same phase power distribution combination circuit 10.
