摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine relative motion device capable of being securely driven even without oil feeding and contributing to stable sewing. SOLUTION: This sewing machine relative motion device comprises a shaft member 11 and bearing members 13 and 14 which mutually perform relative motion. The shaft member 11 is constituted by applying a ceramic material film 12 on a metallic substrate surface on which the bearing members 13 and 14 slide. At the same time, the bearing members 13 and 14 are constituted by inserting a bush 15 consisting of a synthetic resin material on the sliding face of a metallic substrate to slide along the shaft member 11, to generate friction contact between the ceramic material and the synthetic resin material to reduce the friction coefficient between the both to suppress heat generation and wearing loss. Thus non-oil feeding drive can be performed.
