PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high quality reproduction image with less dispersion among photo prints by deciding a control variable of an image signal based on an image recording basic amount and each image signal and recording the image. SOLUTION: Image data from an image input section 10 are tentatively written in an image memory 50, and a basic amount arithmetic section 51 reading the data obtains an image recording basic amount for each image density for each original image and gives the amount to a recording image information arithmetic section 52. The arithmetic section 52 calculates recording image information to decide a projected luminous multi-value processing of each picture element while correcting various daily fluctuation of a negative original or a positive original or the like and gives the result to a data conversion section 53. The conversion section 53 obtains an image signal control variable from a conversion able deciding the image signal control variable on the condition of converting the recording image information into prescribed image density and an image recording section 12 records the control variable. Thus, a high quality reproduction image with features of digital image processing and the surface exposure system of a photo print is obtained. |
