PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-base ink jet recording fluid which spreads well without causing dot missing (white speckles), can be delivered evenly, and can give a uniform and distinct image free from abnormally scattered dots (disordered dots). SOLUTION: This recording fluid contg. a water-sol. dye contains ethylene carbonate and/or propylene carbonatre, polyethylene glycol pref. having a mol.wt. of 200-1,000, and water. Pref. the content of ethylene carbonate and/or propylene carbonate in the compsn. is 25-60wt.%, and that of polyethylene glycol, 5-30wt.%. |
