<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent more feed or a cable than necessary by accurately detecting the feed length and the feed speed of the cable. SOLUTION: This detection device for the feed length and the feed speed of a cable is provided with a mark detection device 4, 7 for detecting a mark which is put on a cable 1 at intervals successively in the direction of the length of the cable 1, together with the feed of the cable without touching it to generate a mark detection signal and a control device 8. The control device 8 is provided with a feed length computing device for computing the feed length of a cable 1 on the basis of the mark detection signal generated from the mark detection device 4, 7 and a feed speed computing device for computing the feed speed of the cable on the basis of the mark detection signal generated from the mark detection device 4, 7.</p> |
