<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix the direction of a display screen irrelevantly to how the terminal device is held and makes the display screen easy to see by providing a detecting means which detects the quantity of displacement of the device in the gravitational direction and performing control so that information displayed on a display means is displayed based on the opposite direction from the gravitational direction according to the detected displacement quantity. SOLUTION: A detector 5 of the terminal device detects the current tilt (position shift in the gravitational direction, i.e. displacement quantity) of the device and determines the tilt of display contents to be displayed on a display unit 3 according to the detected displacement force. When the display contents are displayed on the screen of the terminal device, the axial direction of a gyro is matched with the longitudinal axis (Y axis) of the display contents. According to the detection result (X,Y,Z) of the gyro, a controller 4 converts the X, Y, and Z axes of the display contents and displays them. Namely, the contents on the display screen change in tilt to the display unit as the tilt of the terminal device changes. Even if the display unit 3 tilts, the contents on the display screen do not change.</p> |
