PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple production method of a color filter with a small number of production processes. SOLUTION: The production method includes the following processes. Coloring agents of two or more colors (except for black) are applied on the surface of a transparent substrate 1 by using an ink-jet printer to successively form a pattern of each color in such a manner that each color layer does not touch other color layers. Then a UV-curing black coloring agent is applied on the substrate surface where the color layer 3 is formed, irradiated with UV rays through the back surface of the substrate 1 so as to harden the UV-curing black coloring agent applied in the color layer 3. Further, the UV-curing black coloring agent not hardened on the color layer 3 is removed to form a black layer 4 between the color layers 3. |
