PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE(orchestration without lyrics) device having a harmony adding function for well-reverberating harmony with no repetition of parts by selecting harmony parts according to singing. SOLUTION: The singing voice signal of a KARAOKE singer is inputted and a pitch detection part 40 detects the pitch. The detected pitch is inputted to a part analysis part 41 to analyze which part the singer is singing. The analysis can be taken by comparing the pitch of the singing voice signal with a plurality of threshold values and finding which section the singing voice signal belongs to. Once the singing part of the singer is known, harmony data harmonizing with the part are read in a harmony data register 44 and a harmony voice signal of the pitch is generated. The harmony voice signal is generated by shifting the pitch of the singing voice signal to the frequency of the harmony data by a pitch shift part 43. |
