PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability by interposing a protective film between solid electrolyte and a hydrogen electrode so that the solid electrolyte of a solid electrolyte fuel cell is not reduced by a reductive atmosphere such as a hydrogen electrode atmosphere. SOLUTION: A solid electrolyte material composed of (CeO2 )0.9 (Sm2 03 )0.1 generated by doping Sm to CeO is used as solid electrolyte 11. A protective film 14 composed of a mixed member of (CeO2 )0.9 (Sm2 O3 )0.1 and stabilizing zirconia is fixed between the solid electrolyte 11 and a hydrogen electrode 13 by an ion plating method. |
