PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for guidance for driving a vehicle which can easily and adequately judge courses around a destination. SOLUTION: A driver sets a destination in step S1, a CPU calculates a direction of a destination, displays a direction of a destination on a display map in step S2, the CPU searches a course to destination from the present position in step 3, a searched course is displayed on the display map separating from the other course and guidance of a course is started in step 4. The CPU monitors whether a distance between the present position and the destination is within a value previously set or not, when it is in the setting value, a reduction scale of the display map is switched to the minimum scale by which the present position and the destination can be displayed on the same screen in step 6, and a map of which a reduction scale is switched is displayed so that the destination is arranged at the center of the screen in step 7. |
