LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery in which LiCF3 SO3 excellent in stability is used as a solute of nonaqueous electrolyte and which is excellent in a preserving characteristic and in which aluminium inside of a coating film is not eluted in nonaqueous electrolyte using LiCF3 SO3 as a salute since a surface of a current collecting body of a postive electrode is covered with a necessary coating film. SOLUTION: A lithium secondary battery is provided with a positive electrode which uses a material having electric potential not less than 4V (vsLi/Li<+> ) in a charging condition as an active material and uses foil or a film of aluminium as a current collecting body, a negative electrode using lithium as an active material and nonaqueous electrolyte using LiCF3 SO3 as a salute. The foil or the film of aluminium has an AlF3 coating film on its surface.
