PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic teller machine which can simplify its carrier path mechanism, can improve its space efficiency, and also can facilitate its maintenance and jam processing. SOLUTION: A paper money carrier path R is prepared between a paper money reception part 7 and the safe cassettes 16, 17, 18 and 19 having the store parts 20, 21, 22 and 23 respectively. Every safe cassette has the integration rolls which stores the paper money carried on the path R into its store part and the extraction rolls which takes the paper money out of the store part for payment. These two types of rolls construct a part of the path R. |
