PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a bond, etc., in which the signature value is enhanced, by reading the signature written on an inserted card and storing the signature image to print it on a medium. SOLUTION: A customer selects 'purchase of traveler check' among the transaction items, inserts his ID card, and inputs the purchase amount of the traveler check as well as his registered password number (S1 to S4). When the cash is paid, the ID card is returned to the customer and a signature register card is issued (S5 to S7). The customer writes his signature on the signature register card by means of a writing tool and this card is sent to an optical sensor which reads the written signature, and the card is returned to the customer (S8, S9). At the same time, the read signature image is printed on a medium and the traveler check is issued (S10, S11). Thus, the read signature is clear and accurate since it is written on the card by a writing tool, thereby, the signature value is enhanced. |
