PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an extension talker to recognize the arrival of a required call by the talker to a facsimile equipment from a caller by informing the arrival of facsimile transmission data from a caller of a registered caller number to the extension talker making the registration of a caller number. SOLUTION: A dial-in call reaches a facsimile equipment 18 via a public line interface 2 containing an external line 1. When the facsimile equipment 18 replies the call, the equipment connects to a facsimile equipment of an opposite party to receive data. When a caller number is included in an arrived signal to the interface 2, the caller number is fed to a control section 11 via a control bus 12 and stored temporarily in the control section 11. When the reception of data is finished, the interface 2 informs line interruption to the control section 11. The control section 11 allows a FAX call reception notice information collation means lid to collate the caller number with a caller number in a storage means 11C to decide a notice destination of the FAX call. |
