PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply produce a color filter with decreased numbers of exposure and development processes by forming a specified stripe pattern of a photosensitive resin on a transparent substrate, pouring a color resin liquid into grooves formed by side walls of the stripe pattern, drying and hardening the resin liquid to form a pixel pattern. SOLUTION: A specified stripe pattern is formed by using a photosensitive resin on a transparent substrate such as glass. A color resin liquid is poured into the groove formed by the glass surface and side walls of the stripe pattern by using capillarity, and then dried and hardened to form a pixel pattern. Namely, a black matrix is formed on a glass substrate and a stripe pattern is formed by using a photosensitive resist film on the black matrix. This pattern is formed in such a manner that the length of stripes is changed in every three lines on the edge of the glass. The edge of the pattern is successively brought into contact with red, green and blue color resin liquids to fill the grooves with the resin liquids by capillarity. |
