<p>The water resistant screen panel (1) for protecting windows and doors from flood water is grooved on its periphery. An inflatable joint (3) is housed inside the groove. Height adjustable jacks (5), supporting the top of the screen, have an adjustable U section collar (18) at the bottom which holds the screen vertical. The collar is locked onto the jacks by wing nuts. An anti-slip clamp is fixed to the top of the jacks. A lower stop fixed to the jacks prevents the screen lower part moving from the vertical under the pressure of flood water. Wedges with slender webs (11) compensate for the curvature between the joint and the base of the door opening.</p> |
