PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital copying machine which can improve its using efficiency by reserving the interruptions of an original reading operation, a print-out operation, etc., after combining them together. SOLUTION: When an interruption request is received via a key operation of a 2nd operator while a 1st operator is executing a copying job via an electronic sorting means 5, the copying job of the 1st operator is interrupted and the original of the 2nd operator is read by an original reading means 1. Then the image data on the original are stored in the means 5 and at the same time only the reservation is accepted for the copy mode of the 2nd operator. Then the interrupted copying job of the 1st operator is started again after the reading operation and the copy mode reservation of the 2nd operator are finished. When the copying job of the 1st operation is finished, the image data are read out of the means 5 according to the reserved copy mode of the 2nd operator. Then the copying job of the 2nd operator is automatically carried out. |
