CONNECTION TERMINAL FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection terminal for electromagnetic shields used in portable telephones by forming a pair of contacts which may be in contact with the inner wall of a shield processed housing or a shield wall at the tips of a pair of contacting arms. SOLUTION: A connecting terminal 1 is formed integrally by a base 2 with a pair of contact arms 3 formed in both ends thereof. In the inner side 8 of opposing base 2 to the gap S of the pair of contacts 4 at the tip of the arm 3, a face 6 which may be attracted by a suction nozzle used for automatic assembly when mounting the terminal 1 onto the ground pattern on a printed circuit board is formed. Forming position is located approximately on the center of the inner face 8 of the base 2, and the pair of contacts 4 at the tip of the pair of arms 3 are bent toward the base 2 for contacting resiliently with an inner wall of a shield processed housing or a shield wall.
