PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily and effectively prevent adverse influence from being exerted on performance when a microscopic foreign matter such as a metallic oxide mixed in a gas flow supplied to a stack sticks to a surface of the stack. SOLUTION: A stack 1 is constituted by layering a plurality of cooling plates 3 and unit cells 2 where a fuel electrode and an oxidizing agent electrode are arranged by sandwiching an electrolyte layer by impregnating electrolyte into a matrix. A fuel cell is formed by arranging a supply-discharge manifold of fuel gas and oxidizing agent gas on a side surface of this stack 1. A scavenging 6 to scavenge fine powder mixed in the oxidizing agent gas is arranged in an oxidizing agen gas inlet part in which the oxidizing agent gas inside of the manifold 4 flows. |
