INTERACTIVE TELETEXT BROADCASTING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the interactive teletext broadcasting system of a viewer participation type by using effectively an existing environment installation so as to easily realize an information exchange system whose object is a general house having an interactive capability without imposing a high additional cost onto the user. SOLUTION: A broadcasting station 1 is provided with a means sending a script to provide plural kinds of additional information sets independently of a main broadcasting for a vertical blanking period included in a video signal. A television receiver 3 has a script execution processing means and a means sending viewer participation reply data by selective operation of a viewer according to additional information to a telephone reception service 4. Thus, the viewer easily takes part in a main broadcasting program with an interactive function using a television receiver as a medium by sending automatically a reply content with respect to a main broadcasting (actual program) such as a quiz and a questionnaire with a simple operation of a television receiver remote controller.
