PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a reliable current detection type enzyme electrode with uniform characteristics in a mass since the pretreated state of the electrode is uniform. SOLUTION: A conductive mask 2 is installed on an insulation substrate 1 and an electrode is formed. In that state, the entire substrate is dipped into an electrolyte, a potential is applied to each electrode and the electrolyte via the conductive mask 2 and the electrode surface is pretreated, and a treatment is made by silane coupling agent. Then, a solution obtained by mixing such base as albumin, enzyme, and a crosslinking agent is applied to form an immobilization enzyme film. Then, by releasing the conductive mask 2, an enzyme electrode where an enzyme film 8 is formed on each platinum electrode can be formed. Finally, by separating each electrode from the substrate 1, a large amount of current detection type enzyme electrodes with uniform characteristics can be manufactured. |
