<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude erroneous input due to the touch of a part of the hand by providing a touch panel in which the density of a spacer in an area with which the hand is to be touched is increased and depression sensitivity is decreased. SOLUTION: The touch panel 1 comprises an upper transparent panel 2 and a lower transparent panel 3, and a gap is held with the spacer 19. A reference voltage 15 is supplied to the touch panel 1 by a switch 14 to detect the position information of the depressed point of the touch panel, and it is read by an A/D converter 16, and converted in to display coordinates by a CPU 17, and displayed on a liquid crystal display 18. The upper transparent panel 2 and the lower transparent panel 3 in the area with which a part of the hand comes in contact when pen input is performed are formed so as to increase the density of the spacer 19 located between them on the touch panel 1 and to prevent them from coming in contact with each other due to pressure generated by touching with a part of the hand.</p> |
