PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the total storage capacity on an information provision side by composing information for one service of videos and sounds in combination and making it possible to combine one piece of the information with the other piece of the information in overlapping relation. SOLUTION: A 1st auxiliary storage device 11a is stored with background videos in the form of digital data and a 2nd auxiliary storage device 11b is stored with music information respectively. When a request signal is sent from a terminal device 36 to a video information provision device 28 through a transmission line 7, the background videos of the genre corresponding to the request are read out of the 1st auxiliary storage device 11a, packeted by a 1st packetizer 5, and outputted to a multiplexer 9. The music information corresponding to the request, on the other hand, is read out of the 2nd auxiliary storage device 11b, packeted by a 2nd packetizer 6, and outputted to the multiplexer 9. They are outputted from the multiplexer 9 as one packet sequence to the terminal device 36. |
