PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image quality from being deteriorated by the difference of temperature and humidity between the inside and the outside of an image forming device and to reduce the production cost. SOLUTION: The armor for the image forming device is constituted by attaching panels 31 to 38 to a frame 20 made of metal. The panels 31 to 38 are formed of woven fabric or nonwoven fabric or foaming articles. Since the panels 31 to 38 have gas permeability, the difference of the temperature and the humidity between the inside and the outside of the image forming device becomes small. For example, in the case of transferring a toner image on a recording material on the outside, transfer bias in accordance with the temperature and the humidity on the outside should be set to this recording material, and the transfer bias in accordance with the temperature and the humidity on the inside should be set to the toner for developing. However, the difference between both of them is small, so that the transfer is performed by setting the transfer bias approximate to the optimum transfer bias to the recording material as well as the toner differently from the case the difference is large. Since workability is made compatible with strength, a metallic mold is disused differently from the case of molding or press forming. |
